Schedule of Events:

3:00 PM: Meet the SMF Early Keyboard Family

Join us at Trinity Episcopal Church to meet and hear the SMF's amazing collection of historical keyboard instruments, including several harpsichords, 18th- and 19th-century fortepianos, and two organs. Festival musicians will discuss and perform. All are invited. Event will last about one hour. Then come back for the Early Keyboard Extravaganza concert on Tuesday evening!

7:30 PM: Love and Sacrifice

The things we do for love! This program ranges from medieval love songs to a world premiere arrangement of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, and closing with a suite from Bernstein's beloved "West Side Story." (Included in the ANNUAL or SUMMER PASS)

Guillaume d'Amiens - Medieval secular music
Stravinsky - The Rite of Spring, arr. for two pianos and percussion (world premiere)
Jeths - Laudi d’amore, for baritone and violin (US premiere)
Tchaikovsky - October Song, for clarinet and string quartet, arr. Takemitsu
Bernstein - Suite from West Side Story, for voices and orchestra
