This class focuses on non-medical comfort strategies you can use during labor. Topics include relaxation & guided imagery, music, aromatherapy, birthing ball, movement, positioning, massage and using a tub or shower. You'll gain tips on how to make a peaceful transition from home through hospital labor and birth. This class is for women who are in the low intervention program or for those who want a natural birth. It does not present the same information as the Childbirth Preparation classes. We strongly recommend that you take this class after taking a Childbirth Preparation class, especially if this is your first baby.
