Keep Suffolk Beautiful and the Suffolk Art League join forces once again to present the highly anticipated Suffolk Earth & Arts Festival, sponsored by Suffolk Tourism and Downtown Suffolk. The festival is a celebration of art, culture, and environmental stewardship. It will take place outside on the streets of historic downtown Suffolk on April 20, 2024, from 10 am until 4 pm, creating an immersive experience for all attendees.

Discover unique creations and support local talent as the festival will showcase over 130 vendors ranging from local artisans and authors to animal rescues and environmental outreach organizations. This family-friendly event will also include face painting, caricaturist artist, live music, and dance performances. The musicians playing at the event are Amy Kaus, Daniel Jordan Band, Jonah Ross, RaJazz, and Patrick Ryan.

Downtown Main Street will be bustling with a variety of dining options, featuring local restaurants such as The Mod Olive, Harpers Table, El Korita, High Tide, Danny’s Downtown Dogs, Barons Pub, and Brighter Days Café. Additionally, for those with a taste for Vegan cuisine, we will have a food truck and Vegan Bakery on hand to cater to diverse culinary preferences. Adding to the laid-back ambiance, The Nansemond Brewing Station will host a beer garden, inviting attendees to unwind and enjoy the flavors of local brews in a relaxed setting.

The Suffolk Master Gardeners will host a large plant sale and a rain barrel workshop and will be available to answer gardening questions. The workshop costs $55.00, and spaces are limited. To register for the rain barrel workshop, please visit www.suffolkmastergardener.org

C-FIT Studio will lead a free, one-hour yoga session starting at 10:30 am. Twenty spaces are available for the session, and you can register for the class starting in April by visiting https://cfitstudio.com/ Bring a mat or towel.

Executive Director of the Suffolk Art League, Linda Bunch, expressed excitement about the upcoming festival, "We are delighted with the quality and diversity of the artists and artisans that will be participating in this year's Suffolk Earth and Arts Festival. The variety of vendors, along with the Master Gardeners, animal rehabbers, and civic organizations, music, and food will provide lots to see, do, and learn."
