5k Run/Walk with Community Resource Fair

April marks Child Abuse Awareness Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. To help raise awareness on the subjects of child abuse and sexual assault within the community, Braveheart CAC is hosting the 2nd Annual Superhero 5k run/walk on Saturday, April 27th! The morning kicks off at 10:00am with the 5k run/walk and it is followed by the kid's superhero fun run. The kid's run is complimentary. Participants in the kids run will receive a goodie bag. Awards will be provided to the following male & female categories; 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. There will be family activities; bounce house provided by Have a Seat Rentals, bake sale and face painting. Local exhibitors will be set up during the run to share their resources with our community.
