What is Swine & Stein Oktoberfest? You get a 5 oz. taster. You visit the Biergarten tent (you have multiple tickets) to taste great Maine craft beers, ciders, and even wine. You wander through a sea of food trucks (oh, the aroma) for warm comfort food. Music is in the air. GREAT music. Games are everywhere, from the more casual cornhole and giant Jenga to the ultra-competitive Frozen T-Shirt Race, Main State Rock Paper Scissors Championship, and Swine Calling Contest.  You will drink, eat, listen, watch, dance, and possibly compete. And there will be lederhosen - everywhere.  This is Swine & Stein Oktoberfest!

Pulling from diverse musical backgrounds, Runaway Home blends their sound, whiskey-smooth and harmonically strong, with a plaintive and rootsy edge.

Special Guests: a truly Nashville experience in Gardiner!

Gardiner’s own Police Officer Emily Davies is a professional musician who just happens to play bass with Runaway Home from her Nashville days! You can hear her on bagpipes as well on their newest album, “Gotta Get Outside.”

Nashville turned Hallowell  musician extraordinaire Mark Horn a.k.a. Professor Smartypants (percussion, banjo, vocals) will be sitting in on drums with Runaway Home for this performance as well.
