North Park’s The Original 40 Brewing Company is hosting a custom candle-making evening with The Hot Spot on Thursday, December 1 as part of its “December Crafts and Craft Beers” series. The price is $25 and all materials and instructions are included. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and no reservation needed. Guests are invited to come early for Happy Hour, which is from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. and includes $2 off all beer and wine. On December 9, Head Brewer Zack Kaplan is releasing Strata Chilla, a Cold IPA (6.6% ABV) with Strata and Citra Incognito hops, packed with berry, melon, and citrus notes.
