This two-day residency, curated by cellist Dmitri Atapine, explores the relationship between Dmitry Shostakovich and Soviet cinema, the music of Nino Rota, and the work of legendary Hollywood composer Erich Wolfgang Korngold. You’ll also be introduced to brand-new, film noir-inspired music from Libby Larsen and Patrick Castillo.
