Highfield Hall welcomes back piano wizard Tim Ray with John Lockwood on bass and Edmar Colon on saxophones in an afternoon of provocative jazz both standard and original. Tim Ray is perhaps best known as the late Tony Bennett’s most recent pianist and musical director, appearing in concerts with him until his retirement from singing in 2020.
Tim Ray has featured on over 100 recordings to date and has performed in concert with an extensive list of pop music icons, notably Aretha Franklin, Lyle Lovett, Jane Siberry, and Soul Asylum.
