YOGA FOR RECOVERY New Surprise Location: Every Thursday Classes from 5pm - 6:15pm starting 09-05-19 This yoga class is specifically designed to maximize and strengthen the therapeutic benefits of an individual's mind-body connection. Specific movements and postures along with mindful breathing techniques help manage stress and support the immune system. Studies have shown that yoga helps lower blood pressure, improves a person's sense of well-being, reduces fatigue, and can help people with cancer and survivors to reduce anxiety and neuropathy through the practice of yoga. Lisa creates a safe, nurturing environment for students to feel comfortable as they explore what yoga means to them. Registration is required.
