Join us for a gentle yoga class specifically designed with the heart patient in mind.
We will explore ways to manage the physical, emotional and spiritual stress that follows a cardiac event or a diagnosis of heart disease.
We will learn modified yoga postures (using chairs and props for support), simple sequencing as well as restorative yoga postures.
We will explore breath work, relaxation and meditation as ways to support your cardiovascular health and manage your stress.
Mats and props will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes, bring water and a sweatshirt/sweater.
