The 10th Boston JerkFest is a 2-day outdoor Caribbean style foodie festival that features Jamaican **** spiced food and all things spicy and hot.

Boston Jerkfest will feature authentic Caribbean, international, and local spicy food for sale, including: spicy meals, jams, nuts, and desserts, as well as traditional home-made drinks from the Caribbean. Boston Jerkfest also offers live music entertainment and performances for the whole family. Our Spice Lane will feature the best hot sauces in New England, as well as hot pepper value-added products. A Kids & Culture stage will offer  family-friendly performances, including the Cambridge Carnival Youth Steel Orchestra, and hands-on interactive activities.

The Friday evening Rum & Brew Tasting is for 21+ festival attendees and features live music and unlimited tastings of a variety of Caribbean themed libations, spirits, local craft beer, wine, and artisan beverages. Our famous Cocktail Throwdown featuring rum inspired cocktails will be back again.

Boston JerkFest is a family-friendly Caribbean-style food festival offering two days of fun in the sun and featuring Jamaican **** spiced food and all things **** hot!

The festival features 12 Caribbean restaurants offering tasty Jamaican **** dishes for purchase, specialty foods, such as authentic Caribbean drinks Seafood Throwdown and **** Cook-off Competitions, live reggae and DJ’s, ethnic arts and craft vendors, VIP Reggae Lounge, and Kids & Culture stage. And don’t forget the rum punch at the Reggae Bar!

Bring your friends and family and grab your lawn chair and join us for a unique and memorable experience that is full of spice, fun and food. Stay tuned for what else is happening this year. The Rum & Brew Tasting is for 21+ festival attendees and features live music and unlimited tastings of rum, craft beer and a variety of Caribbean themed libations. Chef Demos
Boston JerkFest will showcase a Chef Demo Stage offering Seafood Throwdown and the **** Cook-off competitions, each with two chefs vying for the best **** dish and sponsored by Massachusetts Department of Marine Fisheries, North American Marine Alliance, Red’s Best, and World Farmers.

The Seafood Thowdown at Boston Jerkfest is part of a Boston-wide campaign in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Fisheries and aims to raise awareness about sustainability, seasonality and health benefits of cooking with local dayboat seafood available in our community. Other partners include North American Marine Alliance, Red’s Best and Sustainable Food and Culture, Inc. Check out the 2022 Chef Champs.

Live Music
A featured music stage will offer a place for local artists to jam to the tunes of reggae, soca, steel drums, world music, latin rhythms and more. The 2023 line up is coming soon!

Family Fun
Boston Jerkfest is a family-friendly festival filled with activities for children and adults of all ages! The Kids & Culture stage offers face painting, story telling, and arts and craft activities. Want to get involved or volunteer? Sign up here.

Card To Culture
We are proud to participate in the Card to Culture program, a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and the Massachusetts Health Connector, by broadening accessibility to cultural programming. EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders receive 1/2 off admission price to the Annual Boston JerkFest for the Saturday festival on July 8, 2023. Children 12 and under receive free admission with an an accompanying adult. This special discount is limited to 2 adults, for SATURDAY ONLY and limited to 150 tickets total available for EBT, WIC and ConnectCare cardholders. Check back when tickets go on sale for instructions on how to access this special promotion.
