Camping in City Park is FREE and the concert is open to the public.  Beer sales support Lander Presents Summer Concert Series. Local Food Trucks have a variety of options for dinner but they sell out quickly! Bring your camp chairs, stretch out on the grass under the shade of 100 year old Cottonwood trees and let’s get this party started! Dancing shoes not required.

Meet us at the parking lot promptly at 9:00AM so as not to get lost finding the crew. We encourage all ages to come help build the next phase of trails at this spectacular multi-use community gem.

*Bring water, sun protection, snacks, and gloves. Tools and instruction will be provided by BLM & Lander Cycling Club.

Special Thank You to the BLM for allowing us a special use permit to host the festival at this amazing local trail system! We appreciate all you do to provide access for multi-use recreational activities on public lands!

1- 4:00PM | Demos From Rocky Mountain Bikes, Giant, The Bike Mill And Gannett Peak Sports
After the trail crew wraps things up, join us for group rides, get in line to demo one of Rocky Mountain’s new lineup of mountain bikes! They “build bikes that help riders love riding—full stop. And in doing so, we’re working to create an always-expanding and inclusive community of riders, trail builders, racers, first-timers, weekend warriors, and so much more”.

We couldn’t run this festival without the amazing support of our local bike shops. For a town this size, we’re so lucky to have two unique retailers who live for local trails. They’ve even built a few (all) of them. The cycling community in Lander is welcoming, supportive and super stoked to share our trail systems with you. Live like a local and ride the best bikes for our Wyoming terrain. Their mechanics are beyond talented and they know every feature on these trails and are happy to talk everything bikes. You’re in good hands. We’re grateful to have them!!

Send the kids on a ride with Alpine Science Institute’s,  BICP & PMBIA Certified Instructor, Stacy Wells. She’s our very own mama bear of mountain bikes and she’s been raising the level of stoke for little folks at the Jurassic Classic since the beginning. We love her and so will your kids!

3:00PM | Female Identifying Group Ride For Beginners
This is a fun, inclusive group ride led by our very own Lander Women’s MTB  local trail riding group. They’re here to welcome you to the sport and introduce you to the best beginner trail in Lander, Flowin’ Johnny.  You’ll also meet the group’s founder, PIMBA Certified, Jen Lipps. One fine human being and champion for all folx on bikes!

3:00PM | All Gender Group Ride For Intermediate Riders
This group ride will be just right for the rider who wants to experience Johnny Behind the Rocks at a faster, more technical pace with local badass, PMBIA Certified Instructor, and NOLS Expedition Field Instructor, Clair Smith.  She embodies the Lander Cycling
Club’s mission of Sharing the Joy of Cycling with the Community. Heavy focus on the JOY!

3:00PM | All Gender Group Ride For Advanced Riders
Get ready to catch some air! The newly built, downhill optimized jump trail, J-Line is out of this world! Follow our favorite kickass biker and totally rad human being, PMBIA Certified Instructor, Lindsay Nohl whose “passion is helping people push aside their fears and discover just how strong and capable they are – through reflection, movement, and experiences.”

Shuttles every half-hour from Bruce’s Parking Lot to Fossil Hill Trailhead. It’s all downhill from here!  

Shuttles Are For Full Festival Registered Riders. No Exceptions!

*Know before you go— Brewers Trail information can be found on the Trailforks app, AllTrails or MTB Project or the Lander Cycling Club’s website. These are intermediate and advanced trails with technical, sweet single track. While not impossible, the “Lower” section of the trail is NOT FOR BEGINNERS. It’s technically split into two sections, Middle and Lower- Upper Brewers is fun, flowy and more approachable to a wider audience. You can catch both sections (or do it all!) from where you’ll be dropped off at Fossil Hill. NEW THIS YEAR! Beginner’s Shuttle from Bruce’s Parking Lot to The Warming Hut. This is also a great way to get yourselves shuttled up the road from additional parking in Sinks Canyon. Ask us about it!

We’re pretty skilled at silly games like Adult Strider Races and the Infamous Huffy Toss. We even let the kids in on the fun (with helmets). Sign ups available to festival participants only, otherwise, sit back and enjoy the show. We take these races seriously, just like our costumes. Get out your tutu and compete with a pack of grinning fools.

Curious what all the hype is about over at Central Wyoming College’s Alpine Science Institute? Get the inside scoop from the new Trail Building Program Director and CWC Professor, Darran Wells, on all of the additions, improvements, and planning that’s been happening with the help of local Lander professional trail builder, Alan Mandel and Driggs ID Trail Guru Ron Murray.

We believe in getting our hands dirty for the sake of single track. Put some hands-on trail work in to help maintain this amazing resource we have in our community.

Meet at the first parking lot on the left before you hit the bridge at Alpine Science Institute promptly at 9AM.

Tools will be provided, but don’t forget sun protection, work gloves/boots, water, and a backpack.
