18th Annual stART on the Street - Art, Music and Performance Festival

Arts and Entertainment

September 13, 2022

From: stART on the Street Festival

stART on the Street is central Massachusetts' largest art, music and performance festival.

stART on the Street hosts 250+ artists and crafters displaying and selling their handmade goods in the center of Worcester's Park Ave, some demonstrating their creative processes throughout the day. You'll also find live music, fencing, belly dancing, capoiera, interactive features for all ages, street performers and more throughout the street.

The festival route is lined with area businesses, stores and restaurants. The Highland Street end of the festival is anchored by our new Youth Stage and a variety of food trucks from all around New England. Diners either make use of the tables and chairs in this area, walk the festival as they eat, or take a seat in the shady grass of historic Elm Park.

Next you'll see our Street Performers, as well as the beginning of the hundreds of artist booths. Heading toward Elm Street you'll see several area non-profits on the sidewalk, as well as The Scott Riccuiti Memorial Stage in Elm Park, which traditionally hosts the largest music acts found in the festival. The Elm Street intersection with Park Ave is home to a number of area non-profits and interactive features, as well as the Elm Street Stage and its wide variety of local music.

Continuing on Park Ave toward Pleasant Street you'll find the Youth Market, where creative kids and teens sell their wares and gain exposure to the business side of being creative. Park Grill and Spirits transforms into an outdoor beer garden with our fourth stage of curated local music. You'll also find another food court and seating in the parking lot between Auto Zone and El Basha. Public restrooms and stART information booths are placed throughout the festival.
