Each year Strange Brewfest in Port Townsend, Washington invites brewers to get creative and raise some eyebrows with interesting, unexpected, and strange flavors. Most of the beers are not really all that strange, but anything goes and festivalgoers never know what to expect at the next pouring station. An orange-chocolate porter? Sure. A Moscow mule hefeweizen? Why not? A tiramisu imperial stout? Go for it.

One thing is certain, expect to hear some great music. Strange Brewfest is almost like a killer music festival with lots and lots of beer. This year is no exception. Funky is always a theme that carries over to the music: Saturday's headlining act is Funkways, a band that will take you to the crossroads of primitive raw funk and intense vernacular jazz
