Queen City Ghostwalk is Burlington's original haunted tour, and was the very first tour offered for entertainment of locals and visitors to Vermont's Queen City. The experience has been named ‘Best Scary Stroll' in New England by Yankee Magazine and featured as one of Ten Best Ghost Tours In the Northeast by AAA.

Darkness Falls Tour

Friday and Saturday nights, 7pm, September and October

Join author Thea Lewis (Haunted Burlington, Haunted Inns and Ghostly Getaways of Vermont, and more) for a trip through time on this perennial favorite. This heart of Burlington tour has been chosen one of New England's best haunted walks by Yankee Magazine, and features some of Burlington's most infamous characters and intriguing haunts.

Suitable for savvy, pop culture aware humans age 10 and up. Some sensitive subject matter.

Meet at the Democracy Sculpture, Courthouse Plaza, 199 Main Street, Burlington.

Grateful Wednesdays: Ghosts & Legends Of Lake Champlain Tour

Wednesday nights, 7pm, September and October

We have a lot to be thankful for, so our Ghosts & Legends of Lake Champlain waterfront tours are now Grateful Wednesdays. 50% of the proceeds from these tours will go to the charities indicated on our ticket site.

Ghosts on the water and on the shore! Native Americans legends, documented UFO phenomena, and of course tales of everyone's favorite lake monster. Don't miss this waterfront adventure filled with history, mystery, and spooky fun!

Meet at Union Station, 1 Main Street, Burlington.

Elmwood Cemetery Tour

Sunday nights, 6pm, Sept. 25, Oct. 2

Vermont's famous Allen family, the tragic inhabitants of an iconic Burlington mansion, and one of the original founders of the Home for Friendless Women, where the serial killer Ted Bundy was born.

Meet at Main Gate of Elmwood Cemetery, Elmwood Avenue, Burlington.

Lakeview Cemetery Tour

Sunday nights, 6pm, Oct. 9, 16, 23

National heroes, famous poets, and the first person to cross the United States by automobile share space with victims of grisly crime and even Burlington's most famous "woman of ill fame".

Meet at Louisa Howard Chapel in Lakeview Cemetery, 455 North Avenue, Burlington.

Fright By Flashlight Tour

Friday & Saturday nights, 6pm, October 21, 22, 28, 29

You asked for it, we created it: a haunted tour for adventurous kids and their parents! Fright by Flashlight is a delightful adventure into vintage ghost hunting. We'll employ storytelling, dowsing and other pioneering ghost hunting techniques to introduce kids to the history of paranormal research. Gear (including flashlights) provided.

Recommended for kids 8-12. 4 tours only. Space is limited.

Parents, we've taken care to make this tour kid friendly, but please remember we will be conducting our research in a cemetery as night falls. If your child is afraid of the dark, this may not be the tour for you. Children must be accompanied by an adult 21+.

True Crime Burlington Tour

Thursday nights, 7pm

Looking for a tour packed with some of Burlington's most grisly tales? Gather your True Crime loving friends and join historian Thea Lewis, author of Wicked Vermont, on a walking tour that recounts some of the Queen City's most infamous murders and misdeeds.

Sensitive subject matter. Ages 16 and up, please.

Here For The Boos A Story-Telling Event

Wednesday, October 19, 7pm, at the Burlington Beer Company, 180 Flynn Avenue, Burlington

Is your idea of a great ghost tour the kind where you get to sit and listen to spooky tales while holding a beer to your lips? Well, look no further.

Queen City Ghostwalk celebrates our twentieth anniversary with Here For The Boos— a story-telling event that reveals Burlington's haunted history through the adventures of smugglers, serial killers, factory tragedies, ghost ships and more.

Join us Wednesday, October 19th at one of our favorite haunts, Burlington Beer Company on Flynn Avenue. Thea Lewis, creator of Queen City Ghostwalk and author of Haunted Burlington and Wicked Vermont will be your host for a session of spine-tingling fun in a building that's full of history, mystery, and beer so good it's practically supernatural.
