The Lonestar Round Up is a huge outdoor car show and live music festival featuring vintage hot rods and custom cars driven to Austin from all over the country by folks on an annual pilgrimage here from across the country.

Thursday, April 18, 2024

The Round Up Kickoff BBQ
Start your weekend off right at The Round Up Kickoff  BBQ sponsored by the Meatheads, Thunderbolts and Kontinentals car clubs - held from Noon to 4pm at Old Beyersville Hall, at FM 619 and CR 448 - Southeast of Taylor, Texas. Enjoy some great food, hospitality, and live music.

Early registration pick-up!  
Pick up your registration packets and any extra admission wristbands you need on Thursday at the Travis County Expo Center from 5-7pm. Drop by so you can be ready to roll into the show on Friday morning. We will be set up in the general admission parking lot so you can get in and out easily and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Expo Center RV/Camping Open
If you are camping at the Travis County Expo Center, you can come in and get a spot starting NO EARLIER than 10am. You will not be able to camp onsite before Thursday

Legendary Austin bar band who combine blues, rockabilly, RandB, country, soul, zydeco, and garage rock.

The show is over out at the Expo Center

Sunday Cruise to Ski Shores Cafe
Take a scenic cruise out to Lake Austin for great food at this classic Austin landmark, just like the early days of the Round Up!

We plan to meet at Jo's Coffee (1300 South Congress Ave) at 10:30am and roll out at 11am. Head south down Congress, and go right on Ben White Blvd to TX 360 Loop North until you cross the iconic Pennybacker Bridge then turn left on Courtyard Dr. Take another left on City Park Road and follow it down to Ski Shores Cafe (2905 Pearce Rd, Austin, TX)

If you are rolling out on your own from elsewhere, plan to meet up around noon at Ski Shores
