23rd Annual Alameda Classic Car Show

Arts and Entertainment

October 3, 2016

From: Alameda Classic Car Show

Classic cars of every description will line up along Park Street between Encinal Ave and Buena Vista Ave antique roadsters, coupes, hot rods, muscle cars, and much more. Most of the cars come from the magical decades of the '50s and the '60s, but there will also be plenty of muscle cars from the '70s along with classic beauties from the '20s, '30s, and '40s.

The free event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm and is fun for the whole family. Entertainment and prizes will be available and DJs will be spinning oldies from the '50s and the '60s.

In addition to the cars and entertainment, many of the businesses in Downtown Alameda will be open. Spectators are encouraged to shop and explore the unique collections of our stores and enjoy the tasty fare of our fabulous restaurants. (click here to receive exclusive discounts)

The Downtown Alameda Classic Car Show is hosted by the Crankers Car Club and is sponsored in part by Downtown Association member Lee Auto Supply. We certainly thank them for their incredible dedication to the show. Without their help, this annual event would never get off the ground. As a reflection of their organizing skills, a national representative of the Mustang Club of America declared Downtown Alameda's Classic Car Show to be "the best that he has ever seen."

Downtown Alameda's Classic Car Show has a lot to offer! So come on down to Downtown Alameda's historic Park Street District to enjoy one of the best Classic Car Shows on the East Bay plus a whole lot more… get in some shopping at stores you won't find in any mall, eat your way through our 50+ restaurants, and enjoy the family entertainment centers while you're at it.

Free secure bike valet will be provided at Alameda Bicycle.
