Bright Nights at Forest Park opens for its 28th season.

"Bright Nights at Forest Park" is the Northeast's premier holiday lighting experience with more than 675,000 lights along a three-mile drive through. Displays include Seuss Land, Winter Woods, Happy Holidays Springfield, Everett Barney Mansion and more!

Bright Nights Road Race

Not your ordinary walk in the park! Run the 5k route through the magnificent lighting displays.

The race begins at the Seuss Land Arch (Walker Grandstand). The route is to the Poinsettia Candles (Picknelly Field) and back to Seuss Land.

Runners must be at least 14 years old on race day.

Includes souvenir long-sleeve shirt, post-race soup supper at the Bright Nights Storage Facility and Bright Nights Gift Pass.

Registration and post-race soup supper are in the Bright Nights Maintenance/Storage Facility

Registration Fee - $70

5:30pm-8pm: Visit With Santa

Santa will be strolling through his Magical Forest at Bright Nights at Forest Park. He will be greeting visitors, listening to holiday wishes, and posing for photos.

Be sure to bring your camera to capture all the smiles, and bring your letter, and leave it in his special mailbox.

Santa's Magical Forest is located after Seuss Land on the left.

December 7 and 14, 2022

5pm-8pm: Zoo Nights

Guests will enjoy a portion of The Zoo in Forest Park lit up with Christmas lights and decorations, and they are invited to the barn for a complimentary beverage with some special friends.

Grain cones to feed the hoofstock will be available for purchase in the ticket booth.

Military families: Free with active ID
