The exhibition will be on display in the 440 Gallery, Park Slope, Brooklyn space from November 17th to December 16th.

Work must be no more than 12 inches (12”) in any direction, including the framing, mounting, or video monitors. The artwork may represent any subject matter. All media—including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, sculpture in any medium, collage, printmaking, photography, and digital media—will be considered.
About the Juror
We are delighted to have Johnny Thornton as this show’s juror. Born in Connecticut, Thornton spent his childhood in Johannesburg, South Africa, before moving to Tucson, Arizona. After teaching himself to paint, he studied Fine Arts at the University of Arizona. Thornton relocated to New York City, where he received his Master of Fine Arts from Parsons the New School for Design in 2012.
Thornton has had work exhibited widely and has had several recent solo shows in New York City. His work is part of several collections. Thornton works out of his studio and is the Owner/Director of Established Gallery in Brooklyn. Thornton is also the Executive Director for Arts Gowanus, a non-profit organization working to support, promote, and advocate for local artists and a sustainable arts community in Brooklyn.
