The 44th Annual Michigan Firemen's Memorial Festival will have some new and exciting events. Members of MFMFC have been gearing the Festival more towards Firefighter and EMTs. There will be more Emergency Vehicles, more Vendors selling various fire equipment, and a class offered by Michigan Propane Gas Association. There will also be a Versiti blood mobile for those who wish to donate. Extrication will again be offered again  sponsored by Holmato.  The other competitions will still be available. Search & Rescue at the Tower, Waterball, the "Bright Light Showdown will still be major events.

10:00 AM Vendors Check-in and Set up.

12: 00 Noon Vendors may open when ready.

4-8 PM “Family Night” Free Hot Dogs, Activities teaching Firefighting, shows, Demonstrations and Hands on Experience for all

6 PM Meeting for Fire Vendors and Firefighters working Competitions

Friday September 15, 2023

9:00 AM Vendor Check-in and set-up . (Supply Vehicles removed from aisle by 12:00 noon)

12:00 Noon Vendors open booths

2-12 Midnight Refreshments in Big Red Barn (ID required)

4-8 PM Registration for Competitions in Command Post ( Bright Light, Waterball, & Smokehouse)

4 PM Extrication Training by Holmatro

4-8 PM Bouncy Houses in Corral for Children.

7 PM “Bright Light Showdown” Judging Starts ( Drivers Must stay with their Vehicle)

8 PM– Midnight Music & Dancing in the Big Red Barn ( must be 21 with ID & badge)

9 PM Bright Light 911 Memorial Parade ( Lights only No sirens) Walkers join in at 5th and M-18

9 AM Memorial Services presented by Michigan State Firemen’s Association Services are at the Statue site which is 1337 Robinson Lake Rd.

9 AM Parade Registration on Lake St.

12:00 Noon Parade begins (on Old 76/5th St to Ballanger ending at Grounds

10 am –3PM Versiti Blood Drive For Appointment

11:00 AM until Gone Lions Chicken Dinners 12:00 Noon Big Red Barn Opens (Picture ID required)

12:30 PM Search & Rescue Competition and Extraction Competition begins 1:30 PM Waterball Competition Begins

1:30 PM Demonstration by Gray’s Towing/ Michigan Spill 3:00 PM Gold Badge auction and auctions for other items.

4 PM Demonstration Burning on Gas maze and autos.

8 PM $1000.00 Raffle Drawing Music, Dancing, and Socializing. In the Big Red Barn (Badge required with Picture ID Must be 21)
