From: Arts Foundation Of Cape Cod

The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod in partnership with Cape Cod Media Group, Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, Cape Cod Regional Tansit Authority, Martha's Vineyard Chamber of Commerce, and the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce will launch the eighth annual Fall for the Arts to run from October 1 November 1 across Cape Cod and the Islands.

Fall for the Arts is a family-friendly month-long celebration that showcases local art and culture.

Events include:
- An AFCC Fall for the Arts Kickoff Celebration
- Live Music Performances and Concerts
- Performances at one of Cape Cod's 22 Theaters
- Open Houses, Exhibits & Lectures at Museums and Historical sites
- Art Activities for Children
- Guided Art and Heritage Walks
- Plein-air Painters & Events
- Special Art Gallery Exhibits
- Film Screenings
- and much more!

Also, the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce has worked with local inns and hotels to create accommodation specials and packages.

5:30 to 8:30 p.m. - Fall for the Arts Kickoff Event at Cape Cod Community Media Center

Get an inside look at the magic of television with demonstrations and hands-on opportunites by the Cape Cod Community Media Center. The experience culminates in a live musical taping of Steve Morgan & The Kingfish playing their own brand of classic R&B!

6:30 to 8 p.m. - CJAZZ, The Cape Conservatory Jazz Ensemble at Falmouth Museums on the Green

The Cape Conservatory Jazz Ensemble will perform as part of the Jazz Stroll during ArtsFalmouth's Annual JazzFest.

4:30pm to 6:30pm - JO&CO at the Yarmouth Seaside Festival, Laurence MacArthur School

The family band JO&CO will lend their soulful sounds to the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce's 37th Annual Seaside Festival.
