On July 21st, we have the bittersweet privilege of announcing that our longtime Production & Community Relations Specialist, Kim LeBlanc, is officially moving on from the Texas Film Commission to begin a new and exciting opportunity as the Film & Music Commissioner for the City of San Antonio.

Since 2009, Kim has been a key member of our Production Team, helping to liaise with more than 1,700 incoming productions, scouting more than 900 Texas-based locations, and working to certify more than 85 communities in our Film Friendly Texas program. We’re incredibly proud of the work she has done throughout her tenure here at the TFC and look forward to a continued collaboration with her as she assumes her new position, helping to take the film and music industries in the San Antonio region to even greater heights.
