A Symphony of Winds - A Free Spring Performance by the Queen City Concert Band

Will welcome the Queen City Concert Band into their beautiful Mayerson Theater for A Symphony of Winds.

This free concert will feature a number of notable pieces from the symphonic band literature, including Julius Fucik's rousing circus march "Entry of the Gladiators," Richard Wagner's operatic masterpiece "Ride of the Valkyries," Brant Karrick's whimsical Cajun fugue "Bayou Breakdown" and more.

"This will be our first performance at the SCPA," explains associate conductor Steve Joos. "The Mayerson Theater is a state-of-the-art facility and we are very excited to be taking the stage there. We hope everyone will gather their family members and friends and join us for a pleasant Sunday outing in Over-the-Rhine."

Convenient paid parking is available at the lot at (Central & Elm), in the Washington Park Garage (entrances on both Elm and Race Streets), and in metered spaces on the streets surrounding the SCPA.
