Arts and Entertainment

November 28, 2023

From: Roxey Ballet

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ (2023) – Roxey Ballet and the Lambertville Historical Society will present the 3rd annual “A Very Lambertville Holiday Celebration” at Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, NJ, on Wednesday, December 20 at 7 pm. This artistic collaboration features holiday song selections and live performances from local artists and bands with joyful dance choreography performed by Roxey Ballet Company dancers and Mill Ballet School Trainees. Musicians include local favorites such as The Laurie Vosburg Band, Mary Bary Freedman, Santa P. and the Elves, Ric Jarboe, and Deva Troy. The magic of the holidays will come alive, offering a visual way to enjoy old favorites. Don't miss the chance to see this warm and welcoming local event.

This annual tradition began after the destruction of The Roxey Ballet Company’s Black Box Theater in Lambertville from Hurricane Ida in 2021. At that time, Music Mountain Theatre graciously presented a venue for the ballet and the opportunity to move this evening of holiday music and dance to their facility. The Roxey Ballet remains committed to providing arts to the region as is evidenced in their extensive local performance schedule. The Mill Ballet School was also forced to move their studio from their Lambertville home due to the effects of the storm, and provides rehearsal space to The Roxey Ballet at their home studio in New Hope, PA. New Hope and Lambertville may technically be two towns, but they are one community that supports and sustains one another.
