“The President’s budget is a non-starter for Americans. Not only does it not roll back unnecessary spending, but actually increases much of it by wide margins. This budget also does not fund our national security needs, both at home and abroad, at the levels needed when threats from China and the crisis at our southern border grow by the day.

“Our national debt is rising to a level that is not sustainable and it’s clear that President Biden’s budget will not favor managing an already disastrous debt figure of over $30 trillion.

“Also, President Biden, long a supporter of the Hyde Amendment to prevent tax dollars from paying for abortions, has completely turned his back on the historically bipartisan measure. This budget calls for its repeal. This budget, and its proposals, do not operate in reality.”
