Live from Paris with our host, Inès Bel Kefi

Inès is a Professor of French and Spanish at Université Paris Saclay since 2009, and received a Master in French Modern Literature at Université of Paris 7 Denis Diderot the same year. She is also a board member of UPLEGESS (Union des Professeurs de Langues Étrangères des Grandes Ecoles et de l’Enseignement Supérieur).

In addition to her classes, Inès loves sharing with her students the hidden gems of Paris, where she has been living for twenty years, and frequently organises Discovery circuits in different areas of Paris.

A native of Lyon, Inès also grew up in different cities (Tunis, Ankara, Hamburg and Geneva). She now lives in Paris with her husband and their daughter.

JEAN-LOUIS BEAUMADIER studied flute with Joseph Rampal at the Marseille Conservatory and continued his studies at the National Superior Conservatory in Paris with the renowned Jean-Pierre Rampal. Awarded prizes at International competitions in Geneva and in Paris (Guilde des artistes solistes), piccolo solo for twelve years at the Orchestre National de France, he then became one of the best piccolo players in the world, renown through his discography (Grand Prix of the Académie Charles Cros), his concerts in Europe, USA and Far East and his piccolo score collection published by Billaudot editions.
