Chabot-Las Positas Community College District has awarded fifteen Amador County businesses and non-profits $2,500.00 each via  the California Office of the Small Business Advocate Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant Program. This program was put in place to provide assistance to microbusinesses and non-profits (businesses or nonprofits with fewer than five employees and earning less than $50,000.00 per year) that were in operation in 2019, and are still in operation but were impacted by the Covid-19 public health restrictions. The recipients are:
