Hundreds of thousands of families rely on the Red Cross, each navigating a challenging journey. And right by their side is a team of remarkable Red Cross volunteers.

The Red Cross community makes the extraordinary happen in moments of crisis, largely thanks to the dedicated volunteers who make up 90% of the Red Cross workforce and respond to more than 60,000 disasters each year.

Whether installing smoke alarms to keep communities safe, providing disaster relief to families who have lost so much or helping military members during emergencies, Red Cross volunteers are central to making our community what it is.
