The sale of Christmas trees raises critical funds for the Melrose High School Marching Band.

The Melrose High School Marching Band will host its Annual Christmas Tree Sale in the Melrose High School parking lot on Friday, December 2, between 5 and 9 p.m., and Saturday, December 3, from 8 a.m. until all trees are sold.

This most festive tree sale is a great opportunity for the Melrose community to support the Melrose High School band and pick out a Christmas tree directly from Nova Scotia. As the Melrose High School Band’s largest fundraiser, the sale of Christmas trees raises critical funds to purchase large instruments and uniforms, award scholarships to seniors, and assist with staffing costs.

Also available for purchase during the sale will be wreaths (decorated and plain), kissing balls, and bake sale treats. Festive guests will be available for pictures Friday night and students will be playing holiday music throughout.

For the best selection, organizers urge the community to arrive on Friday. Credit cards, Venmo and cash will be accepted, however organizers are not offering pre-ordering this year.
