Each year we have the opportunity to work with students at the Wargo Nature Center Heritage Lab. This year's theme is "Fur Trade" and our activity helps students understand how an Ox cart crossed the river. We have the 20-minute program prepared, all we need is your help in telling the story to students as they rotate through our station!

Third Thing

Don't miss the Genealogy Society quarterly meeting at the History Center on September 14 at 6:30 p.m. The program is entitled, Angels and Death Heads, Crosses and Crowns: Symbols in Cemeteries. Mike Brubaker, the Executive Director of the Sherburne History Center in Becker, will lead the presentation. He has been working and teaching Genealogy for nearly 30 years, going back to family research during his college days at Weber State College in Ogden, Utah
