Janet was an active and enthusiastic member who helped with many League activities; she was a regular office volunteer, worked on the monthly mailings of our newsletter, the Voter, registered voters, and participated in meetings. On Monday September 11, 2023, at 7;30 – 9:30pm, Jim McGrath will be speaking about the Berkeley Waterfront for the Environmental Concerns Speaker Series. This will include the Berkeley Pier, a possible ferry service to San Francisco and other park issues. See you over Zoom!

Email to join us on Sunday, September 10. Come and represent the League for one or two hours registering voters and explaining why we love the League. Enjoy the parade and chat with some of the hundreds of people who flock to the stroll. The frequent praise of the League and the interesting questions, keep you engaged and busy. We’ll be among the vendors, entertainers, food booths, and government & nonprofit agencies whose booths line the Stroll. If you are able to volunteer, please email [email protected].
