The Arlandria Eggstravaganza is one of the most EGGciting Easter events in the Alexandria/Arlington area.

The Arlandria Eggstravaganza is an annual free community event held at Four Mile Run Park. The day includes activities, contests, games, food, entertainment and fun for all ages! Including egg hunts for for kids in 5th grade and below.

Egg Hunt:

he egg hunt is one of the main attractions at the Eggstravaganza.  Children will have the opportunity to collect over 10,000 treat-filled eggs!

Notice: While the Arlandria Eggstravaganza is a free event that is open to the public. You must register the day of the event on site to participate in any egg hunt.

There are two egg hunt times for children ages to 4 to 11. If you register before 11:30 you will automatically be in the group that hunts at Noon. If you arive after 11:30 you will be put into the group that hunts at 1:15PM

For children ages 3 and below there is a special hunt area know as the Tot Hunt and they may hunt at anytime.

Get ready to find as many eggs as you can!  On your mark… get set… go!!!!!


Rainbow Rock Band

Are you ready to meet the rainbow?? Join the Rainbow Rock Band as they entertain your little dudes with tunes, laughs and more!  Winners of a Parents’ Choice Fun Stuff Award for their debut CD, “Meet the Rainbow,” an absolute mix of musical genres from folk to rock to rockabilly, all the while being EDUCATIONAL and FUN!!  Your child will learn about shapes, colors, movement, and more!  The Rainbow Rock Band encourages all rainbow rockers to participate in the show either on the microphone or at their seat, either way your little one is sure to have fun!  

Groovy Nate

Groovy Nate is a children’s performer and Wolf Trap Teaching Artist who blends music, puppet skits, movement, and comedy into one groovy experience! The shows expose participants to various genres of music and encourage them to move, sing, and play creatively.  His first children’s CD, “Meet Groovy Nate” combines the interactive nature of his performances and classes with songs about sharing; inside beauty; eating healthy foods, and the joy of reading. For the past seven years, Groovy Nate’s Music and Movement classes in the Northern Virginia are drawing families who return over and over again to enjoy the interactivity in every class.  Children will sing, play instruments and games, engage in creative play, and move to original and traditional music.

Uncle Devin

Uncle Devin is quickly becoming a leader in the children’s music industry. His “Uncle Devin’s Drum Tales” CD won a 2013 Parents’ Choice Presentation Award and his children’s book, “The ABC’s of Percussion with Music CD,” was named a 2015 National Parenting Publication Awards Bronze winner.  He is also a Teaching Artist and Artist Roster member with Young Audiences/Arts for Learning – Maryland, where he performs Assemblies and Residencies in schools throughout the state.
