Centerville MA - The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, in partnership with Cape Cod Times, the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority, Martha's Vineyard Chamber of Commerce, and Nantucket Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the sixth annual Fall for the Arts with four free concert events in conjunction with special events highlighting Fall for the Arts.

The Cape Conservatory Jazz Ensemble will perform as part of the Jazz Stroll during ArtsFalmouth's Seventh Annual JazzFest.

Since the prolific writer was a huge fan of jazz, it seems fitting for the Bert Jackson Quartet to join the First Annual Kurt Vonnegut Festival's celebrations with their original upbeat jazz and traditional favorites. With Paul Lesniak: tenor & alto sax, clarinet, vocals, Bert Jackson: guitar, ukulele & vocals, Roe Osborn: bass & vocals & Kareem Sanjaghi: drums
According to Kevin Howard, President & CEO of the Arts Foundation, the organization is "excited to partner with these unique regional events by bringing them some of Cape Cod's best musicians." He added that "by enhancing established and emerging events, we are hoping to build the quality and expanse of Fall for the Arts."
Fall for the Arts was created by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod to highlight the region's exciting cultural scene and extend the tourism season. The continual events around the Cape and Islands also encourages residents to get out and experience the vibrant arts and cultural community that exists here. During the month-long festival, there will be many opportunities to meet and talk with artists, enjoy live entertainment, discover cultural centers, visit museums and take a walk through Cape history.
