Centerville MA---The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, in partnership with Cape Cod Media Group, the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority, Martha's Vineyard Chamber of Commerce, and Nantucket Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the sixth annual Fall for the Arts with four free concert events featuring some of the Cape's best musicians.
September 29, 2013 - The CrabGrass Bluegrass Band
11am-12:30pm on the Hyannis Village Green, Main Street Hyannis
CrabGrass is comprised of Les Beavan on banjo, Chris Miner on mandolin, Steve Finch and Dan Fortier on rhythm & lead guitars, and Steve Healey on bass. Their sound is a mix of old and new bluegrass wrapped in an incomparably entertaining show. Presented as part of the 'Treasures of Yarmouth and Hyannis Scavenger Hunt'.
September 29, 2013 - Stanley & Grimm
4:30-6:00pm at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, 307 Old Main Street, S. Yarmouth
Celtic duo Stanley & Grimm entertain with a celebration of traditional music through old and new interpretations of jigs, reels, and songs played with lively fiddle, guitar, and voice. Presented as part of the 'Treasures of Yarmouth and Hyannis Scavenger Hunt'.

With over 100 original songs and an extensive classic rock cover set list, it's ALWAYS a dancing good time at a Paradise Rock show. Presented as part of the Mashpee Commons Block Party.

3:30-5:00pm at Addison Art Gallery, 43 Route 28, Orleans MA
With a distinctive voice and unique style, this singer/songwriter, trumpet player/pianist has a powerful impact on audiences, leaving listeners spellbound with the musical potions she creates. Presented as part of the Capture the Cape Painting Convergence.
According the Executive Director of the Arts Foundation, Kevin Howard, "Fall for the Arts is a month of fantastic arts programming that makes Cape Cod the ultimate arts destination from the end of September through October. We are proud to present these concerts and happy to promote the many special events happening during the festival."
Fall for the Arts was created by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod to highlight the region's exciting cultural scene and extend the tourism season. The continual events around the Cape and Islands also encourages residents to get out and experience the vibrant arts and cultural community that exists here. During the month-long festival, there will be many opportunities to meet and talk with artists, enjoy live entertainment, discover cultural centers, visit museums and take a walk through Cape history.
