Hello art lovers!

Thanks to all who came out to support Arts Gowanus at our sold-out Patterns Gala last Friday. We had a Blast!

Wednesday, May 17, 6:30-11pm at The Bell House

Our friends at the Gowanus Canal Conservancy are hosting an evening of music, dance, food, and drink to celebrate the Gowanus community's advocacy towards a resilient and diverse neighborhood. They will honor community partners and members of the Gowanus Improvement District Steering Committee which includes our Executive Director, Johnny Thornton! Congratulations to all!

Wednesday, May 17, 7:30pm at Cobble Hill Cinemas

The Silent Clowns Film Series presents Harold Lloyd’s penultimate silent film "The Kid Brother" (1927) with live piano accompaniment by Ben Model and an intro by Steve Massa. 

Fun Fact: Arts Gowanus artist Marlene Weisman is the graphic designer for the silent film series.
