2023 was an amazing year for Arts Gowanus! Over the past 11 months, our organization has proudly:

 - Showcased the work of 10 local artists in The Affordable Art Fair and The Other Art Fair;

 - Partnered with Brooklyn Pride on an outdoor banner exhibition featuring 140 works by LGBTQIA+ artists;

 - Installed 7 community murals created by local artists across the neighborhood;

 - Hosted the biggest Gowanus Open Studios weekend ever, with 500+ participating artists across nearly 100 venues;

 - Distributed more than $30,000 in flood relief funds to assist artists impacted by the storm in September;

 - Supported, promoted, and advocated for artists in our community as part of the Arts Gowanus mission and as members of the Gowanus Oversight Task Force.

And we are not slowing down! In the coming years, Arts Gowanus will steward 28,000 square feet of affordable studio spaces and a community center that were negotiated as part of the Gowanus Rezoning plan. We need your support to #keepgowanuscreative!
