Call For Color! 

It's that time of year again.  Help us pick a color for our Annual Color Ball!

Everybody loves a party, especially one filled to overflowing with creativity and entertainment, great food, enchanting libations, cool costumes, and amazing art & music! The AAAC's raucous color ball is coming, and this year it could bear your mark… help us choose the color and influence the theme! Is it 40's cocktail, or 20's gangster? Extraterrestrial disco? Black-light Roller-skating Bikers?
Let us know your wildest dream… follow the link… it's all in celebration of the arts!

What COLOR should the 2015 Color Ball be?

Aquamarine, Baby Powder Blue, Bright Pink, Cinnamon, Chartreuse, Copper, Crimson Red, Deep Saffron, Fluorescent Yellow, Fuchsia, Indigo, Ivory, Magenta, Mint, Midnight Blue, Onyx, Orchid, Periwinkle,  Royal Blue, Sapphire, Sepia,Teal Blue, Violet?

Current Exhibition: Andy Herod brings "Misprints" to the AAAC Gallery

June 19th through July 25th, Reception July 3rd from 5-8

Andy Herod is a professional, self taught painter, illustrator and print maker from the USA. He has lived in Asheville for 8 years. He is fueled by coffee, the love of dogs and the promise of great adventure. Andy Herod, in collaboration with several different artists including: Anna Jensen, Julie Armbruster, Kreh Mellick, Jaime Karolich, Eleanor, Annand, Noah Prinsen, Hannah Dansie, Gus Cutty, Jason Kreckle, Chris Findley, Drew Findley, Joshua Spiceland, Gabriel Shaffer, & Gabriel Aucott, brings a masterfully curated show titled "Misprints" to the Asheville Area Arts Council's (AAAC) Gallery. This exhibition opens June 19th and runs through July 25th. There will be an opening reception in conjunction with the Downtown Asheville Art District First Friday Art Walk on July 3rd from 5-8pm.
