Clubs and Organizations

October 17, 2023

From: Auburn Chamber of Commerce

If all year could have this amazing weather we are having right now I would be one happy lady! It is perfect temps, not raining and just sunny and beautiful, putting life into a bright perspective, I love it! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, the leaves are changing, the activities are happening, there are sports going on all the time, everyone is bustling around and mostly joyous. Yesterday I got the chance to go get family pictures done at Blackberry Creek Animal Sanctuary and it was one of the best times I have ever had. The weather was perfect, my kids got along, the photographer was phenomenal and the animals and the grounds at the sanctuary made for the PERFECT backgrounds. Again, I just love Fall!

This weekend is going to bring even more fun fall activities with the Auburn Harvest Festival at Auburn Rec Park. My oldest kiddo will be out representing the Sugar Plump Fairies in her best Fairy attire, handing out candy and leading the costume parade. I love the festival and all the people it draws along with the hundred or so businesses both sponsoring and with booths, it's such a great day! But first before we get to the weekend, we have the prestigious McCann Award Winner Colleen Sands speaking at Meddlers tomorrow morning AND an AWESOME Mixer at Visit Place on Thursday evening!

So the key to happiness, enjoy what you do and look at the bright side because there usually tends to be one!
