Gateway to the Rockies Art Show 20 Years
Aurora, CO - View juried exhibits of paintings, photography and miniatures by artists of local, regional and national importance at the annual Gateway to the Rockies Art Show at the Aurora History Museum, 15051 E. Alameda Parkway. This year marks the 20th anniversary of this Aurora tradition.
A wine and cheese reception from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10 will kick off Aurora's largest annual art show. Some of the artists will be available at the opening reception to discuss their work. Framed and unframed artwork will be available for purchase during the reception and the show. A commission of 30 percent of sold work benefits the city of Aurora's cultural programs.
The Gateway to the Rockies Art Exhibit, which is a favorite for local, regional and international artists to feature miniatures, two-dimensional works and photograph, is presented by the Aurora Artists Guild and co-sponsored by the Aurora History Museum and the city of Aurora Cultural Services Division.
