Super Bowl Chili Spice Kit!

Stop by any of our branches throughout the month of February and pick up a spice kit.

Adairsville: The Basics Bartow Workshop

The Basics Bartow, a nationally recognized public Health campaign will present five fun and simple ways to promote school readiness that are free and easy for parents to incorporate into their daily lives.

The Basics is designed for children 0-5, but parents of all ages are welcome!

February 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & March 3rd at 10:30 am

STEM Play Fridays
Ages 0 - 5

Children are never too young to start doing STEM activities. Join us each Friday for activities that focus on science, technology, engineering and math.

Storywalk: A Thing Called Snow

Drop by Dellinger Park between Jan 4th and March 3rd to go on a brand-new Storywalk! Our Winter book is "A Thing Called Snow" by Yuval Zommer! We've also collaborated with The Basics Bartow and Advocates for Children to add some fun reading and literacy tips to some of the panels! For a full list of literacy activities make sure to scan the attached QR code on the story pages at the park!

Look for the Storywalk at the trail around the duck pond. After you complete the Storywalk, stop by the library for a FREE book of your choice!  Thank you to Cartersville Parks and Rec. for all the support and for co-sponsoring!

Eighteen Artifacts: Story of Jewish Atlanta Banner Exhibit

A 20-panel exhibit based on the Breman Museum's “Eighteen Artifacts: Story of Jewish Atlanta” exhibit.  Made possible through a partnership between the Georgia Public Library Service and the Breman Museum.

Join our weekly Tabletop roleplaying games group at the Cartersville Library! Beginners and experienced players are welcome. Adults only, please. Most games/campaigns are open to new players. Adairsville: Lego Saturdays

10:30 am - 12:30 pm
If you're a great Lego builder, or a first timer, this is the place for you.

Join us to get creative and build anything you choose with LOTS of Legos. You can either work on your own creation, or build as a team.

The library will provide the Legos, while you provide the imagination! All materials must stay at the library, so bring a camera to capture your adventures. Please leave your Legos at home. We don't want you to lose your favorite pieces.

Mindful Meditation Discussion and Practice

We invite you to join us as we come together to explore mindful meditation. Classes are led by experienced mindfulness meditation leaders who volunteer their time, and each bring their own style of sharing and unique perspective to the group. Open to all. No cost. No experience necessary.
