Happy #LibraryCardSignupMonth!
Banned Books Week celebrates the FREEDOM TO READ and spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. For 40 years, the annual event has brought together the entire book community — librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the FREEDOM TO SEEK AND TO EXPRESS IDEAS, even those considered by some to be unorthodox or unpopular.
Heading into the fall and all the things that September brings, patrons may want or need specific help with social media accounts or a newly acquired tech device such as a laptop, tablet, or phone. Just be sure to bring all necessary passwords.
Patrons can book a half-hour appointment with our Head of Reference Services by contacting the Reference Desk at 781-275-9440 ext 3.
Slots are available at: 7-7:30 pm / 7:30-8 pm / 8-8:30 pm
You can also stop by the Reference Desk during these hours with your questions.

We look forward to seeing what she has in store for our youngest patrons.
