The Belmar Anniversary Show
To celebrate this event we invite artists to enter works showing their impressions of and experiences in Belmar. All forms of art are welcome and they can be about Belmar today, experiences you and your family have had through the years, or works inspired by historical events and images. We hope to see images of the beach, the boardwalk, the sand and sea, boating, surfing, swimming, fishing, lifeguards, historic buildings, and all the other elements that make Belmar a beautiful place by the sea.

Art Exhibition! Artist’s Salon! Music! People’s Choice!
The Plein Air Painters of BAC invite ALL plein air painters ( non-members are welcome ! ) to join a fun two day event at Belmar Arts Center featuring a POP UP exhibition, a chance to vote for a favorite painting, a musical event by Matt Trice and an Artist’s Salon and Reception.

Space is limited, registration will be limited to the first 20 artists.

Let’s learn to Paint the Still Life!!
August 20 & 27
11am - 2pm

These classes will guide you through the process and understanding of how to create an Impressionistic still life painting from start to finish.
Students will paint on the still life project with the direction of Mark Saenger
Understanding values, form, color, textures and more will be covered.  
Class size is limited

Beginning Drawing Class:
Learn the skills of a Master Fine Artist

Instructor: Elizabeth Sowell-Zak, Master

Time: 6:30-7:00pm

Learn the Beginning basics for two-dimensional artwork from a Master.

Using fundamental principles and technique you will be able to apply these skills at every level and maybe the very understanding you are missing to improve your artwork or will be the best investment you are making to build upon, as a beginning artist.
