Bergman To Serve On Budget, Armed Services, And Veterans' Affairs Committees In 118th Congress

Today, Rep. Jack Bergman announced he will serve on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, the House Armed Services Committee, and the House Budget Committee in the 118th Congress.

Rep. Bergman stated, "Serving on these three critical committees in the new Republican Majority is an honor and I'm ready to hit the ground running. We have major tasks ahead of us - we must continue to ensure the legislation we pass in the House puts our Nation first and addresses critical issues facing our District.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to rejoin the Budget Committee in this new Congress. It's imperative Congress puts forth a budget that brings our out-of-control spending back to reality and begins to rein in the reckless spending spree Congress has been on over recent years and a national debt that exceeds the entirety of our Nation's economy.

"I look forward to continuing my work on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Committee on Veterans Affairs, as I seek to help strengthen our National security and ensure once that Servicemember moves on to the next stage of their life, they receive the care and benefits they've rightly earned in service to our Nation."

Rep. Bergman has served on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs since 2017, the House Armed Services Committee since 2019, and served on the House Budget Committee in 2017 and 2018.
