The Booking Around Berlin Scavenger Hunt is back! Get your log at the library starting July 1st and find 15 of the 20 participating local businesses and schools around town. Submit your log at the library to earn a special Brag Tag and be eligible to win a gift card to a participating business or a special gift basket! Read & Bead: Superhero Summer!
June 15 - August 12
The Read & Bead Summer Reading Challenge (for children preschool-grade 5) is back and better than ever (with a superhero twist). Visit the library to pick up a necklace and choose your first Brag Tag, and start earning beads! Earn special beads for completing Challenges and attending library programs.

Super Rubber Ducky Club!
June 15 - August 12

Wiggles & Giggles (Ages Birth - 23 Months)

Wiggles & Giggles is an in-person storytime for children ages birth - 23 months that focuses on developing pre-literacy skills with nursery rhymes, songs, bounces, and books! Bring a blanket to sit on. Registration is required and class size is limited.

Little Waddlers (Ages 2-3)

Join us for an in-person storytime at the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library! This program is designed for 2 and 3-year-old children with a parent/caregiver. We will read stories, sing songs, and learn fingerplays to encourage a love of books and early language development.

Mother Goose on the Loose (Birth - 5)

(Ages 0 -5) Join us outdoors at Sage Park for rhymes, songs, fingerplays, and bubbles! Bring your own blanket or chair. Caregivers must be present. Registration is required. If there is inclement weather, registrants will be notified (via email if you've provided one and our Facebook page) ahead of time of cancellation.

We call Connecticut home and so does a wide variety of wildlife. Learn what is living in our backyards as well as how we impact their habitat. The program includes live animals and takes place at the library.
