There's still plenty of time to participate in the Read & Bead Summer Reading Challenge (for children preschool-grade 5)!

How it Works

1) Visit the library to register and pick up a paper activity log or download one from our website.

2) Choose your first Brag Tag and a necklace. 

3) Start reading! You don’t have to count anything – just read and complete challenges and activities. Fill in the circles on your log and earn beads and Brag Tags to decorate your necklace!

Level Up!

For example: if you read or complete an activity on Monday and earn a solid color bead, and read or complete another activity on Tuesday and earn another solid color bead, you can exchange your two solid beads for a solid fun shape or regular glitter bead.

Plan a Design

-Be creative and plan a design! For example:

-Solid Fun Shape, Pearl, Solid, Solid Fun Shape, Pearl, Solid

Available Beads:

solid, solid fun shape, regular glitter, pearl, sport, UV color changing, animal, fun shape glitter or jumbo bead, and special beads for completing Challenges and attending library programs
