Woodburn Illuminated

The Biggs Museum of American Art will host an illumination station along with the Governor's staff at Woodburn to light the night with this unique art form. Stroll the grounds, enjoy the stately home's decorations, admire the gathered illuminations, listen to music, sip warming hot cocoa...there is so much waiting to revive your spirits during this one-night-only special event.

Deco-Rate the Holidays!

We can’t remember a more festive December. Inspired by our featured Art Deco Glass exhibition, the Biggs has transformed in holiday central this winter season with fa-la-la-la-la lights galore. Come cozy up with some art on these cold winter days.
Sip hot chocolate or enjoy a peppermint stick as musicians and carolers stroll through the galleries during this special event.

Join the Biggs Curator of American Art, Laura Fravel for a holly jolly jaunt through the holiday cards created by artists. Showcasing specialty pieces from times past not regularly on view at the Biggs. Once you are done exploring our collection of holiday cards you can create your own collage cards inspired by the lecture in a special workshop .
