With everything going on in the world, we all need to laugh a little more......ok, a LOT more. This is the logic behind the decision for this year's fall musical, a musical with little logic whatsoever!

Monty Python's Spamalot is a comedic musical "lovingly ripped off from" the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975). Like the film, it is a highly irreverent parody of the Arthurian Legend, but it differs from the film in many ways, especially in its parodies of Broadway theatre. It won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Whether you've seen Spamalot once or a dozen times, you haven't seen it in the intimate setting of The Strand, where we nearly make the audience part of the English peasantry!

Broadway Meets Motown was The Strand's most popular concert of its proprietary Broadway On Main series, selling out every seat in the house! It's sequel Motown & More was just as wildly received. So we thought to ourselves, "how much longer can we possibly milk this one?". The decision was, at least one more time! Motown 3 will showcase more iconic hits from the Motor City along with additional, beloved tunes from that classic era of American music! This Original Concert Celebrates Fall Festivals from all Over the World!

Zelienople was founded by German immigrants, so it's a bit of a surprise that we haven't yet created a show around Oktoberfest. Really, though, how many Oom-pah bands and beer drinking songs can anyone endure for one evening? Turns out, though, that there are all kinds of fall festivals across the country and around the world. Much of North America celebrates the Apple Festival, Thailand has a Lantern Festival, Mexico has its 'Day of the Dead', and, yes, West Virginia even has its 'Roadkill Festival'! True story.

Oktoberfest and More 'Fests' is a veritable smorgasbord of music from all over the country and the world. It's another tremendous original show that you won't be able to experience anywhere else. It's written and produced ONLY for Strand audiences!

Last year, The Strand was the very first venue, not just in the Pittsburgh market, but the entire tri-state region, to license and produce Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn. It went so well that we thought that you'd forgive us for pushing the Christmas season on you a little early this year with another Irving Berlin favorite, White Christmas! Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features 17 Irving Berlin songs including the iconic tune from which the show was named, White Christmas!

While there are fans of this cherished musical all over the world, even they haven't seen it produced in the intimate setting of The Strand, where the audience might as well be guests at the inn since they're so close!
