(FAIRFIELD, California)-If you are a betting person, you would be very wise not to bet against the Dingman brothers 36-year-old Tim and 45-year-old Joe finding success in their new family business venture. That's because the track record each brings to the table is an enviable one and a likely precursor of what's to come. On Jan. 16, the "Dingman Team" will launch operations as franchise owners with Pillar To Post Home Inspectors®. They will serve homebuyers and sellers throughout Fairfield, Vacaville, Dixon, Benicia, Vallejo, American Canyon, Napa, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Windsor, Cloverdale, Ukiah, Mendocino and Fort Bragg. And each brother is in lockstep with the other when they say they are fulfilling a dream. "It was a lifelong goal of mine to own my own business and to work with my family one day," Tim said. "This is the chance of a lifetime and I am blessed to be able to go down this path to make memories with my family."

If integrity and attention to detail are two hallmarks of a successful home inspection business, the Dingman brothers have the bases covered… and then some.         Younger brother Tim holds a civil engineering degree from New Mexico State and spent the past 11 years working as a project manager for two of the largest general contractors in New Mexico, overseeing more than $300 million worth of commercial construction projects. Joe is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and retired in 2015 after more than 20 years as a decorated pilot, as well as having held multiple leadership positions. Joe flew combat sorties in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and also earned a master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University. Both brothers chose Fairfield as the base for their business to be closer to family.

Pillar To Post has an especially strong reputation among veterans. It has been named the No.1 veteran-friendly franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine and G.I. Jobs and has also been recognized with five-star VetFran status from the International Franchise Association, one of only 100 franchisors of the 600 who participate in the program to be awarded five stars. Pillar To Post offers a 20 percent discount on its initial franchise fee to qualified veterans and in 2016 they made up 20 percent of Pillar To Post's new franchisees. The company boasts almost two dozen franchisees throughout California. "The Dingman Team chose Pillar To Post for a few reasons," Joe said. "It was the perfect family business for us to utilize our skills and get involved with the local community as business owners and leaders while also allowing us to be a part of a quality brand and company that our family can grow with in the future."

Over a span of 23 years nearly three million families have counted on Pillar To Post to be their trusted advisor when buying or selling a home. In January, Pillar To Post was named North America's top-rated home inspection company within Entrepreneur Magazine's annual Franchise 500®. The accolades don't end there. Franchise Business Review, a trade publication that measures franchisee satisfaction, places it among the Top 50 Systems for Franchisee Satisfaction and Franchise Gator includes the franchisor in its Franchise Gator Top 100 franchises list.

A professional evaluation both inside and outside the home is at the core of Pillar To Post's service. Inspectors input data and digital photos into a computerized report that is printed and presented on site. All information is provided to clients in a customized binder for easy reference, allowing homebuyers or sellers to make confident, informed decisions.
