Aurora, CO - The Colorado Association of Senior Centers (CASC) will host their annual conference, “Talking ‘bout Our Generations”, at Heather Gardens in Aurora, Colorado. The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will include breakout sessions, networking opportunities for industry professionals and a keynote speech by Brent Green of BG&A Associates addressing the “Transformation of the Industries of Aging”.
Brent is an internationally-recognized speaker in the field of marketing to the Baby Boomer generation. His outlook is the result of his experience as a counseling therapist and his 30 years’ experience in the marketing and communication field.
The Conference offers members and non-members of CASC a unique setting to collaborate on important issues facing professionals in the aging industry. The annual conference attempts to accomplish the following goals:
- Disseminate information about key topic areas related to aging and wellness and the roles of CASC and the Colorado Parks and Recreation Association
- Bring together interested agencies to reinforce the development of recreational and therapeutic programs in Colorado
- Recognize outstanding contributions in the field by honoring an outstanding program and presenting the CASC Outstanding Professional Award known as the Marianne Logan Award
“We feel the conference is well situated this year to take advantage of the wonderful facilities at Heather Gardens and will provide participants with a wealth of information and ideas they can incorporate into their own programming,” said Justin Lampe co-chair of the conference organizing committee.
