Join us in making observations of plants and animals – at a park, a beach or even just in your own neighborhood – April 28 - May 1 as part of a worldwide “bio-blitz” called the City Nature Challenge! 

Help as we compete against other metro areas to see who can make the most observations of nature, find the most species and engage the most people.

The Maritime Aquarium needs your help! Each spring, horseshoe crabs spawn at our local beaches – which makes it the perfect time for researchers and community scientists to tag them. Join us for a virtual training session on May 4 or 10 at 7 p.m. to learn more about these creatures and the tagging process. Tagging sessions will be held at Calf Pasture Beach on select nights in May and June.
